1960 Senior Trip

The Class of 1960 Senior Trip to Washington D.C......What great memories.....!!

This picture is very small to get it to fit the screen, but the actual picture is about 19½ inches wide and about 12 inches tall.  I tried the picture on a page alone and it does not show up very clear, so this is as good as it gets unless you can download and do more on your computer.  I am going to list as many people as I know and maybe someone else can help me and we can fill in all the names.  Please double check the names I have entered. This picture was taken on the front lawn in front of the Capitol Building in Washington DC.

FEEDBACK TO HELP IDENTIFY:

1. First bit of feedback was from Frank Fry.  He said quite simply if the picture was taken in Washington DC he could not be in the picture as he was not there.  With that said the next to last person in the first row is NOT Frank Fry!!
2. Second bit of feedback from Lane Herron has been quite helpful... Person next to Lillie Mae Ramsey is Nellie Faye Bowers, next to Christine Smith is Margaret Pilkey, next to Mitzi is Annie Mae King, next to Donna Lee Posey is bus driver, Jerry Rice, next to James Lee is Austin Herron.  Not sure about this one but I believe it is Ellen Cook (this is 100% correct) between Jeanette Burnette and Sandra Shattles.  I have no idea who the guy is standing between Charles Welch and Donald Sherrill.  Between Joe Thomas and Wayne is Thomas Cloer (I had this one already).  I think the gentleman next to Donald Womack was a congressman from NC (not real sure).
3. We are now 100% sure the person between Ray and Eugene is Dick Cochrane.  Thanks to Dick's wife as she was kind enough to respond.
